The toilet was clogged and smelling and there was nasty used toilet paper in the garbage as well as the floor being extremely dirty. The gentleman at the front desk did come up right away and unclog the toilet but the floors were so dirty that we had to wear shoes in and out all of the time as well as in the shower. The room set up was nice, but they should be checked before sending a family in to find that. The next morning the maid did change the trash in the bathroom, but the floor was still filthy. The remotes also had dead batteries , which is not a major thing, but little things make the difference for people who are coming in and just want to relax. We also drove for an hour trying to find the hotel because there was no signs out front. I'm sure that it might be due to the hurricane, though... so that is understandable, they should just let people know when calling in to look for Shoney's restaurant so that they won't be so confused. There was 2 gentlemen at the front desk who had told me that they also could not find it... so just a suggestion to those answering to book a room until the sign is fixed. thank you" Recommends the hotel to others?
